John Barron

John Daniel Barron (1930–2005) was an American journalist and investigative writer specializing in Soviet espionage and intelligence operations during the Cold War. His bestselling first book, KGB: The Secret Work of Soviet Secret Agents (1974), exposed over 1,500 KGB agents worldwide. He also co-authored Murder of a Gentle Land (1977) with Anthony Paul, documenting the Cambodian genocide under Pol Pot.[1][2]
