John Arbuthnot Fisher Fisher

John Arbuthnot Fisher, 1st Baron Fisher (1841-1920), was a prominent Royal Navy officer known as Admiral of the Fleet and a key innovator in naval strategy and reform. He served in conflicts including the Crimean War, China, and Egypt, rising to First Sea Lord in 1904, where he modernized the fleet with dreadnoughts, destroyers, torpedoes, and improved gunnery and training ahead of World War I.[1][2][3]
