John A. T. Robinson

John Arthur Thomas Robinson (1919–1983) was an English New Testament scholar, author, and Anglican bishop of Woolwich. He became widely known for his influential liberal theology and for works that challenged traditional Christian doctrine, including his role in shaping secular theology and universalist thought.
