John A Flanagan

John Flanagan was an Australian author born in Sydney best known for creating the internationally bestselling Ranger's Apprentice series, which he originally wrote as short stories to encourage his son to read. He also authored the Brotherband and Royal Ranger series, as well as adult titles including the Jesse Parker thriller series and the nautical history novel The Grey Raider, with combined sales exceeding 20 million copies worldwide.
