Johannes C. Andersen

Johannes Carl Andersen (1873–1962) was a New Zealand poet, ethnologist, librarian, editor, and historian born in Denmark and raised in Christchurch. He became known for his work on Māori mythology and folklore, and later served as the inaugural librarian of the Alexander Turnbull Library.
