Johan Sebastian Bach

Johann Sebastian Bach was a pivotal German composer and musician of the Baroque period, born in Eisenach in 1685 and renowned for masterpieces like the Brandenburg Concertos and The Well-Tempered Clavier[2][5]. Orphaned before age 10, he developed into one of the greatest Western composers, combining technical mastery with original imagination to influence generations of musicians[1][2]. He died in Leipzig on July 28, 1750, after a productive career as Thomaskantor and music director[4][7].
