Joel D. Wallach
Dr. Joel D. Wallach, DVM, ND, is a veterinarian, naturopathic physician, author, and lecturer renowned for pioneering research on the health benefits of selenium and minerals, beginning with his 1977 discovery of cystic fibrosis in a selenium-deficient monkey at Emory University.[1][2] He earned his DVM from the University of Missouri in 1964, transitioned to naturopathic medicine in 1982, and co-founded Youngevity in 1997 to promote liquid mineral supplements.[1][2] Wallach gained national fame through his audio tape 'Dead Doctors Don’t Lie' and continues lecturing worldwide on nutrition.[2]
