Joe Wilson

Joe Wilson is a 19th-century Scottish poet and songwriter from Newcastle, known as the 'Bard of Tyneside' for his prolific Geordie dialect lyrics capturing ordinary lives. He wrote over 360 songs, including famous works like 'Keep Yor Feet Still Geordie Hinny', and died in 1875 at his home in Railway Street.
