Joe Nye

Joseph S. Nye Jr. (1937–2025) was a renowned American political scientist and University Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he served as dean from 1995 to 2004.[1][2][3] He pioneered concepts like 'soft power,' 'smart power,' and neoliberal institutionalism, and held key U.S. government roles including Deputy to the Under Secretary of State, Chairman of the National Intelligence Council, and Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs.[1][2][4]
