Joe L. Wheeler

Joe L. Wheeler (Joseph Leininger Wheeler, 1936–2025) was an American author, anthologist, scholar, and educator best known for his long-running Christmas in My Heart story anthology series. He taught English and communications at several Adventist colleges and wrote or edited more than 100 books, earning the nickname “America’s Keeper of the Story.”
