Joe Fish

Joe Fisher (1947–2001) was an author born in Bristol, England, who later lived in Fergus, Ontario, Canada, and wrote The Siren Call of Hungry Ghosts. He died on May 9, 2001, by suicide, jumping off a limestone cliff at Elora Gorge near his hometown. Despite writing about the spiritual dangers of suicide, he took his own life in the spring of 2001.
