Joe D. Rice

Joe D. Rice, also known as Joe David Rice, is a well-known and respected author and resource on all things Arkansas, born in Paragould and reared in Jonesboro. He served as Arkansas's tourism director for thirty years under five governors and authored the book 'Arkansas Backstories: Quirks, Characters, and Curiosities.'
