Jodi Thomas is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of over 60 novels and short story collections, primarily set in Texas, where she is a fifth-generation Texan. A former high school home economics teacher and certified marriage and family counselor, she graduated from Texas Tech University and served as writer-in-residence at West Texas A&M University. Honored with induction into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Texas Literary Hall of Fame in 2022, she lives with her husband in Amarillo, Texas.
