Joanne Rocklin

Joanne Rocklin is a Canadian-born American author of children's fiction, born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in 1946. She began her career as a teacher at Devonshire Elementary School in Montreal from 1968 and later became a full-time writer, producing acclaimed middle-grade novels such as The Five Lives of Our Cat Zook, which won the Golden Kite Award, and Fleabrain Loves Franny, a Bank Street College Book of the Year.[1][2][4][5][7][9]
