Joanne Harris
Joanne Harris is a British author best known for her 1999 novel Chocolat, which was adapted into an Oscar-nominated film starring Juliette Binoche. Born in Barnsley, Yorkshire, to a French mother and English father, she studied Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge, taught French for 15 years, and has since written over 30 books across genres including fantasy, psychological thrillers, and non-fiction.[1][2]
