Joan Salge Blake
Joan Salge Blake is a Clinical Professor of Nutrition, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, LDN, FAND), and Dietetic Internship Director at Boston University, where she earned her MS in Clinical Nutrition and EdD.[3][2] She is the author of nutrition textbooks such as *Nutrition: From Science to You* and *Nutrition & You*, and a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association, focusing on healthy eating, weight management, and obesity prevention through media, her podcast *Spot On!*, and public speaking.[1][3][4] She has received awards including the Annie Galbraith Outstanding Dietitian and Outstanding Dietetic Educator from the Massachusetts Dietetic Association, and the Whitney Powers Excellence in Teaching Award.[1][4]
