Joan P. Alcock
Joan Pilsbury Alcock FSA is an archaeologist and historian specializing in Roman Britain and ancient food history. She holds a PhD in archaeology, is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and serves as an Honorary Fellow and Visiting Fellow at London South Bank University. Alcock is the author of numerous books, including 'Food in the Ancient World' and works on the Cheshire region and Life in Roman Britain.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
