Joan Marble

Joan Marble Cook was an American writer best known for her gardening books, including "Notes on an Italian Garden" and "Notes from a Roman Terrace." She also wrote articles on Lazio gardens for *Wanted in Rome* in the 1990s and had earlier worked as a freelance journalist for United Press International, *The Herald Tribune*, and other U.S. publications.
