Jo Lodge

Jo Lodge is a British illustrator and paper engineer known for her novelty children's books, including the popular Mr Croc series. Influenced by her artistic parents—mother Maureen Roffey, an illustrator, and father Bernard Lodge, a graphic designer—she graduated with a fashion design degree from Kingston University before transitioning to illustration, publishing her first six books in 1996 with Rod Campbell. She has produced over 100 books featuring bright colors and appealing animal characters, and lives in the countryside near Brighton with her husband, dog, and two grown sons.[1][2][4]
