Jim Whiting
Jim Whiting is a prolific American author and editor who has published over 300 nonfiction works for children, primarily focusing on sports topics.[1][6] A Washington state native and Whitman College alumnus, he moved to Bainbridge Island in 1994 where he founded and coached a middle school cross country team and organized summer track meets for 20 years.[6] He is also a professional photographer and former magazine publisher.[3]
