Jim Saltonstall

Jim Saltonstall, born in Yorkshire, England, learned to sail in Bridlington and joined the Royal Navy at age 15, where he sailed the world and developed his passion for the sport. A renowned sailing coach, he supervised training programs for multiple Olympic medalists, including five gold, four silver, and two bronze, and was honored with an MBE for his contributions to youth sailing over 30 years. He is the author of 'My Life in a Blue Suit,' a memoir recounting his adventures in the Royal Navy and sailing career.
