Jim Payne

Jim Payne is a seasoned author and kayak voyager who has written extensively about his American and international paddling adventures, including *One Inch above the Water: Running Away on America’s Rivers* (2008). He is also described as a retired professor, political scientist, piano tuner, church organist, and avid writer who lives in Sandpoint, Idaho.[1]
