Jim Northrup

Jim Northrup (1943-2016) was an Anishinaabe newspaper columnist, poet, performer, and political commentator from the Fond du Lac Indian Reservation in Minnesota. His Anishinaabe name was 'Chibenashi,' meaning 'Big little-bird.' He was known for his contributions to Native American literature and commentary.
