Jim Grant
James Grant, known as Jim Grant, is an American financial journalist and author born in 1946, founder and editor of Grant’s Interest Rate Observer since 1983. He is an alumnus of Indiana University and Columbia University, with a career including stints at the Baltimore Sun and Barron’s during the 1970s inflation era. Among his nine books are histories of finance like 'Money of the Mind' and biographies of John Adams and Walter Bagehot; he lives in Brooklyn with his wife, a physician, and is a parent of four.
