Jim Davis
James Robert Davis is an American cartoonist, screenwriter, and producer best known for creating the comic strip Garfield, which debuted in 1978 and became one of the world's most widely syndicated strips.[2][4] Raised on a farm in Marion, Indiana, he also created U.S. Acres and has produced Garfield-related TV shows and films, earning multiple Emmy Awards and cartooning honors.[4][5][6]
