Jim Burnett

Jim Burnett is a fourth-generation Texan and historian who has researched Texas history for more than four decades. After a 30-year career with the National Park Service, he became a writer and has authored several nonfiction books and many short articles, including *Saltgrass Prairie Saga: A German American Family in Texas* (2025).
