Jim Averbeck

Jim Averbeck is a children's book author and illustrator who served in the Peace Corps in Cameroon in his late twenties, an experience that inspired him to write for children. He has won numerous awards for his picture books and has also worked as a literary agent at East West Literary Agency. He currently resides in the Rocky Mountains, eight miles west of the Great Divide in Colorado.
