Jim Arnosky
Jim Arnosky, born James Edward Arnosky on September 1, 1946, in New York, NY, is a self-taught artist and naturalist who has written and illustrated over 100 nature books for children.[1][2] Raised in Pennsylvania, he worked as a draftsman and artist before becoming a freelance illustrator and writer in 1972, earning numerous awards including the AAAS/Subaru Key Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005.[1][3] He divides his time between Vermont and the Florida Keys.[2]
