Jill Smokler was a New York Times bestselling author and entrepreneur who founded the Webby award-winning blog 'Scary Mommy' in 2008, creating an honest community for millions of mothers by sharing the flawed side of parenting. She authored three books, including the 2012 bestseller 'Confessions of a Scary Mommy,' and became the first mom blogger to sell her brand to a media company.
