Jill Leovy

Jill Leovy is an American journalist and nonfiction writer best known for her bestselling book "Ghettoside: A True Story of Murder in America," a reported account of homicide and policing in Los Angeles. She spent more than two decades as a reporter and editor at the Los Angeles Times, and her work has appeared in outlets including The New York Times, The Atlantic, and The Washington Post.
