Jessy Smith
Jess Smith is a Scottish Traveller and traditional storyteller from Perthshire, whose childhood was spent travelling across Scotland in an old blue bus. She is best known for her autobiographical books including Jessie's Journey, Tales from the Tent, and Tears for a Tinker, which chronicle her life among Scotland's travelling people with rich stories of family, ghosts, fairies, and humour. Now a professional storyteller, she conducts workshops, runs gatherings, and has published novels like Braur's Rest and the short story collection Sookin' Berries.[2][3][4]
