Jessica Raine is an English actress best known for her role as Nurse Jenny Lee in the first three series of the BBC drama Call the Midwife (2012–2014) and as Verity Lambert in An Adventure in Space and Time (2013).[1][2] She began her career on stage at the National Theatre and earned acclaim for roles in Punk Rock, winning the Manchester Evening News Award for Best Supporting Actress, before transitioning to screen with appearances in Doctor Who, Robin Hood (2010), and later series like The Devil's Hour.[2][3]
