Jesse Q. Sutanto

Jesse Q. Sutanto is a Chinese-Indonesian author known for her novels in mystery, comedy, and young adult genres, including the award-winning Dial A for Aunties, which won the 2021 Comedy Women in Print Prize and was optioned by Netflix, and Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers, which won an Edgar Award. She grew up in Indonesia and Singapore before earning an MFA in Creative Writing from Oxford University in 2009 and a BA in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley. She currently lives in Jakarta with her husband and two daughters.[1][2][3][7]
