Jesse Andrews

Jesse Andrews is an American novelist and screenwriter born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, known for his award-winning young-adult novel Me and Earl and the Dying Girl and its feature-film adaptation. He has also written screenplays for Pixar films including Luca and Hoppers, as well as the adaptation of David Levithan's Every Day[1][5]. Andrews is a Harvard University graduate and currently resides in Berkeley, California[1][5].
