Jerry Moore

Jerry D. Moore is an anthropological archaeologist, writer, editor, and professor emeritus of anthropology at California State University, Dominguez Hills. His research focuses on cultural landscapes, the archaeology of architecture, and human adaptations on the north coast of Peru and northern Baja California, including the origins of settled village life and emergent social complexity. He is the author of 'Cat Tales: A History' (Thames & Hudson, 2025) and 'Visions of Culture.'
