Jerry M Landay

Jerry M. Landay was a veteran journalist, author, and Associate Professor Emeritus of Journalism at the University of Illinois, where he taught starting in 1988 and moderated the WILL-TV program 'Talking Point.' He served as a White House correspondent for ABC News during the Watergate Scandal, executive producer of the PBS kids' program 'Why in the World?,' and a news correspondent for CBS. Landay authored books on biblical history and archaeology, including 'The House of David' (1973) and 'Silent Cities, Sacred Stones' (1971), and wrote on movement conservatism; he resided in Bristol, R.I., before his death.
