Jerry A Coyne

Jerry A. Coyne is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Chicago, renowned for his work on evolutionary genetics and the origin of species.[2][5] He is a prominent public defender of evolution against intelligent design and creationism, and has authored influential works including the textbook Speciation (co-written with H. Allen Orr) and popular books Why Evolution is True and Faith Versus Fact: Why Science and Religion are Incompatible.[2][4][5]
