Jerome K Jerome
Jerome Klapka Jerome (1859-1927) was an English writer and humorist best known for his comic travelogue Three Men in a Boat (1889), which brought him widespread fame. He left school at 14 and worked in various jobs including railway clerk, schoolteacher, actor, and journalist before achieving success with Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow (1886) and editing The Idler magazine. Jerome also wrote plays, novels like Three Men on the Bummel (1900), and memoirs such as My Life and Times (1926).[1][3]
