Jenny Markert

Jenny Markert is an American author and educator who has published over 30 children's books on wildlife and nature, along with her first novel, Waterlines, which explores three storylines spanning the Dakota and Ojibwe tribes of the 1860s, the 1980s tourist era, and a return to Quartz Lake in Minnesota in the 2000s. She teaches senior English at Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, Minnesota.
