Jennifer Torres

Jennifer Torres is an award-winning author of children's books including *Stef Soto, Taco Queen*, *Vega’s Piece of the Sky*, the *Catalina Incognito* series, and the *Bad Princesses* series, writing stories about home, friendship, and unexpected courage inspired by her Mexican-American heritage. She began her career as a newspaper reporter covering education and immigration, holds a doctorate in education, and transitioned to freelance journalism and children's literature. She lives with her family in Southern California.
