Jennifer Rozines Roy
Jennifer Rozines Roy, born in 1967 in Colonie, New York, is an American children's author and former teacher of gifted and talented students. She is best known for her award-winning novel Yellow Star, a fictionalized account of survival in the Lodz Ghetto during the Holocaust, which earned a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Award and other accolades. Roy has authored over 35 books for young readers, including educational writing guides like the 'You Can Write' series and novels such as Mindblind and Jars of Hope.
