Jennifer Mason

Jennifer Mason-Black is a Young Adult fantasy novelist and lifelong resident of Massachusetts who previously worked as a poet, doula, and library employee before becoming a homeschooling mother and author. Her debut novel, Devil and the Bluebird (2016), is a fantasy about a teenage girl who exchanges her voice for magical boots to save her sister's soul, and her short fiction has appeared in publications like Strange Horizons and The Sun. She currently writes YA and adult speculative fiction, including the upcoming novel Sometimes the Girl.
