Jennifer Lynn Alvarez

Jennifer Lynn Alvarez is an award-winning author of ten novels, including two middle-grade fantasy series featuring flying horses (The Guardian Herd and Riders of the Realm) and young adult thrillers such as Lies Like Wildfire and Friends Like These. She earned her BA in English Literature from UC Berkeley, initially worked in finance before pursuing her childhood dream of becoming an author, and now divides her time between Northern California and Middle Tennessee with her family and pets.
