Jennifer Larson

Jennifer Larson is a Professor of Classics at Kent State University, specializing in ancient Greek religion, cults, poetry, and myth.[1][2][6] She earned her Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992, with a dissertation on Greek heroine cults that became her first book, and has authored five books on the subject along with numerous articles.[1][2] Her recent research explores cognitive approaches to ancient Mediterranean religions and contributions to Seshat: Global History Databank on topics like ritual and moralizing religions.[1][2]
