Jennifer L Holm

Jennifer L. Holm is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling children's author with nearly ten million books in print, recipient of three Newbery Honors for Our Only May Amelia, Penny from Heaven, and Turtle in Paradise, and the Scott O'Dell Award for Full of Beans.[1][2] Born in San Diego, California, in 1968, she grew up on Whidbey Island, Washington, and later in Audubon, Pennsylvania, with four brothers, which inspired elements of her writing.[2][4] After studying at Dickinson College and working as a television producer in New York, she became a full-time writer, collaborating with her husband Jonathan Hamel on series like Babymouse.[3][5]
