Jennifer Donnelly
Jennifer Donnelly is an American author born on August 16, 1963, in Port Chester, New York, best known for her young adult historical novel A Northern Light, which won the Carnegie Medal and a Printz Honor. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Rochester with degrees in English literature and European history, and her works span historical fiction, fantasy, and retellings of fairy tales, including the Tea Rose trilogy and the Waterfire Saga. Donnelly resides in the Hudson Valley, New York, with her husband and daughter.
