Jennie Lightweis-Goff

Jennie Lightweis-Goff is a scholar, teacher, and writer specializing in American and Southern literature, feminist theory, and gender and sexuality studies.[1][2] She has held academic positions at the University of Mississippi and Tulane University, and her scholarship has appeared in major journals including American Literature, Mississippi Quarterly, and Signs.[1] As a creative writer, she explores themes of addiction and recovery, grief, desire, and precarious labor through lyric essays and creative nonfiction.[1][7]
