Jennette Mccurdy

Jennette McCurdy (born June 26, 1992) is an American writer, director, producer, and former actress best known for her breakthrough role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly (2007–2012), which earned her four Kids' Choice Awards, and the spin-off Sam & Cat (2013–2014).[1][4] She quit acting in 2018 to focus on writing and directing, releasing her critically acclaimed memoir I'm Glad My Mom Died in 2022, a New York Times bestseller detailing her abusive childhood, eating disorders, and mother's influence, followed by her debut novel Half His Age in 2026.[1][3] In 2025, she began adapting her memoir into a television series.[1]
