Jeffrey D. Ullman
Jeffrey David Ullman (born November 22, 1942) is an American computer scientist and the Stanford W. Ascherman Professor of Engineering, Emeritus, at Stanford University. He is renowned for his influential textbooks on compilers (the 'Dragon Book'), theory of computation, databases, and data structures, co-authored with collaborators like Alfred Aho and John Hopcroft. Along with Aho, he received the 2020 Turing Award for contributions to database theory, compilers, and algorithms.[1][2][5]
