Jeffrey C. Carver

Jeffrey C. Carver, PhD, is the James R. Cudworth Professor of Computer Science and Associate Department Head for Graduate Studies at the University of Alabama, where he conducts research in empirical software engineering, human factors, software quality, peer code review, and software security. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland in 2003 and his BS from Louisiana State University in 1997. Carver serves as Editor-in-Chief of Computing in Science & Engineering (IEEE Computer Society) and is recognized as a software expert witness with expertise in evaluating software development practices and systems.
